Happy New Year!

So yesterday in church pastor said he was trying to think of themes for 2008. He threw a few out there such as, "Don't be late in 2008," and "Lose weight in '08," etc. So, for about fifteen minutes I sat there (yes, in the service) and thought about themes for 2008. (don't worry, i eventually disciplined myself to pay attention to the message). Here are my goals for the year. Simple. Concise. Attainable.

1. Hydrate.
2. Lose Weight.
3. Get A Date.

Anybody else out there set goals? I am not the "new year's resolution" type. I don't want to resolve anything. besides - i don't really like the word "resolve". it makes me think of pet stains on the carpet and needing RESOLVE carpet cleaner. therefore, i refrain from using such words.

MEXICO!

So everyone is asking me how Mexico was and here is my chance to brag all about it:)
Here are some things i learned on the trip:
1. I can get to Cancun in four hours! four! yesss!
2. Aunt Ruth is really funny and a great person to room with.
3. It's a good thing i didnt become a nurse because uncle chuck would probably have staph in his infected foot from a piece of glass i failed to remove.
4. SPF 45 keeps you from getting burned...or tan, but NO sunscreen causes you to scorch.
5. I like massages!
6. You can sit out on the beach all day in Mexico and enjoy it because even though it is hot, it isn't humid - it is delightful!
7. I love banana chillers.
8. I like sushi.
9. Just when you think you cant get the sales person to get the price any lower, my dad can barter even more.
10. I can convince my cousin, Brian, that my dad owns over one-third of the resort and that is why everyone treats us so well.
11. If I want to collect shells, i must do so the night before...because there is no way i am beating Aunt Barb AND aunt lisa to the shore in the morning.
12. it IS possible for me to get out of bed and get to breakfast every morning:)
13. robby really really really likes mandy.

15. My dad talks to everybody.
16. Martha is a beach professional.
17. I don't like catamarans.
18. Uncle bob figured out how to FLIP a catamaran.
19. All of my family are wicked alike.
20. I am addicted to Mexico:)
