Epaphrus
For over a month i have been focusing on Colossians in my devos. As i was studying chapter 4, i tried to read slower and just take in what Paul was saying. usually when i read names it goes something like this in my brain, "And paul (blah blah blah), and tychicus (blah blah blah)..." and i never actually read it. well, this time i read it and found saw what kind of testimony i am striving for.
Tychicus:
Beloved Brother
Faithful Minister
Fellow Servant
Onesimus:
Faithful and Beloved Brother
Epaphrus:
Servant of Christ
Laboring Prayer Warrior
Zealous
Paul also said that each of these men all were a comfort to him. what a testimony! these men were genuine and they served the Lord under much more difficult circumstances than i face!

Jen...good post; it is a challenge that we all face, right? Well it is good to know that the Lord helps us to be more like himself and we don't have to do it on our own!!
So, I just thought that I would say hello...it has been a little while. How are ya?
wow! it was so good to hear from you! what is UP? like your blog!
Agreed. Last semester, I spent 8 weeks teaching our teens what it means to be a 1 Timothy 3 Christian (showing them how 1 Timothy 3 doesn't just apply to pastors; it applies to ALL Christians). This series of lessons was an outgrowth of a book I've been in the process of writing on this subject.
